Update on COVID-19 Vaccine in Halton

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. There have been some updates on the COVID-19 vaccine that I know many of you have been inquiring about.

Unfortunately there is a delay with the Pfizer vaccine supply to Canada. As a result Halton will remain in Phase One of the vaccine rollout until March most likely. Peel has been allocated more vaccines due to higher case count but will most likely also be halting at phase one for the time being. If you have already got your first dose of the vaccine, you will still get your second vaccine but expect a delay of up to 42 days from the first.

Phase 2 for certain individuals of the general public will likely start in mid-late spring. Once we receive more information of which individuals, we will be contacting patients directly.
